MYMARINI ist eine Wortkombination aus "Mar", dem spanischen Wort für Ozean, Bikini und dem Namen der Gründerin Mareen. Die Surferin hat sich den Traum eines eigenen, nachhaltigen Swimwearlabels verwirklicht als sie in Süd- und Mittelamerika lebte. Mit dem Label möchte sie zeigen, dass Nachhaltigkeit, Funktionalität und Stil sehr gut zusammenpassen und für eine moderne Swimwearbrand selbstverständlich sein sollten. Dabei setzt die Designerin auf ökologisch produzierte Kunststofffasern aus Italien, die in Kroatien unter fairen Arbeitsbedingungen in kleinen Manufakturen produziert werden.

MYMARINI is a word combination of "Mar", the Spanish word for ocean, bikini and the name of the founder Mareen. The surfer realised her dream of creating her own sustainable swimwear label while living in South and Central America. With the label, she wants to show that sustainability, functionality and style go very well together and should be a matter of course for a modern swimwear brand. The designer relies on ecologically produced synthetic fibres from Italy, which are produced in Croatia under fair working conditions in small manufactories.
